Forks Down is operated by U.S. Freight Service Inc., doing business as Forks Down. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Forks Down, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Seller account details: when a food seller creates an account, we collect their name, email address, and business information (such as their kitchen or business name, pickup address, and payment handles).
- Customer order details: when a customer places an order, we collect their name, mobile phone number, and order and pickup details so the seller can prepare and hand off the order.
- Messages: texts and messages sent through the app between sellers and their customers.
- Payments: subscription and order payments are processed by Square. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
How we use it
- To run the ordering service — take orders, track them, and connect sellers with their customers.
- To send order confirmations, pickup-ready notices, and replies by text message.
- To provide customer support.
- To keep the service working, secure, and improving.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you give your mobile number at checkout on a seller's ordering page, or text a seller's Forks Down number, that seller may send you order-related text messages. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that run Forks Down — for example, Twilio for text messaging and Square for payments — and only as needed for them to do that work. We also share information when the law requires it.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of texts from that seller.

Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
